Kirkland & Ellis advised Ping Identity Holding Corp., a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company, on its initial public offering, which priced on September 18, 2019, at $15 per share, representing a $1.2 billion valuation. The offering marks the first completed IPO by a Vista Equity portfolio company. Ping Identity, a pioneer in intelligent identity, now trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "PING."

The team was led by capital markets partners Bob Hayward, Bob Goedert and Michael Keeley and associates David Zobell and Hannah Kropp, transactional partners Stuart Casillas and Abtin Jalali and associate Simon Root, tax partner David Kung and executive compensation partner Matt Jones and associate Jordan Hartman.
