Morrison & Foerster represented SoftBank in connection with a Series D investment round totaling US$250 million in QuintoAndar, a Sao Paulo-based real estate leasing platform that is changing the long-term rental marketplace in Brazil.

QuintoAndar has designed a marketplace that lets users search, book, rent, and advertise rental properties in Brazil. Founded in 2012 with the mission to connect property owners and renters online, the company said in a statement that the proceeds from the funding round will be used to expand geographically and accelerate growth through partnerships with real estate agencies.

The MoFo team was led out of Miami by corporate partner Randy Bullard, co-chair of the firm's Latin America Desk, and associates Julia Danforth and Astrid Menendez.
