Jotham Scerri-Diacono, Partner within the firms' Shipping practice, and Caroline Risiott, Senior Associate within the same practice, have once again been invited to contribute to the Summer ELSA Law School on Maritime Law. The 2019 edition of the Law School took place at the University of Malta between the 5th and 9th August.
This annual social and academic gathering, organised by ELSA Malta, attracts law students from all around Europe who want to familiarise themselves with the local shipping industry and learn more about Malta's legal framework and practices from top local shipping lawyers and professionals.
As part of this year's academic programme, Jotham focused his lecture on maritime debts, judicial sales of ships and ranking of creditors whilst Caroline's lecture gave students a run-through the ship finance industry in Malta.
