Hall & Wilcox Consumer Credit Update - National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) Act
The Hall & Wilcox Banking & Financial Services team invites you to attend a consumer credit update with a particular focus on the NCCP Enhancement Act (also known as the Consumer Credit Legislation Amendment (Enhancements) Act 2012) and draft legislation implementing phase 2 of credit law reforms.
In this seminar, we will present on:
- recent enhancements to consumer credit laws, including new regulation on caps on credit costs, pay day lending, consumer leases and reverse mortgages;
- draft laws implementing phase 2 of the credit law reforms including regulatory framework for small business lending and leasing, changes to investment lending and anti-avoidance provisions; and
- proposed changes to the Privacy Act and their impact on credit providers.
The seminar will be of value to those in the banking & finance industry, including non-bank lenders.
