Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, a group of combat veterans committed to remembering fellow service members who never made it home, will hold its Annual Memorial Dinner on May 22 at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston.

The dinner memorializes the 282 Massachusetts service members lost since September 11, 2001, and serves as an anchor event for Patriot Week, taking place May 17 through Memorial Day, May 27. Jeff Glor, anchor of CBS Evening News, will serve as master of ceremonies, and the keynote speaker will be Allie Emond, Gold Star Wife of Sergeant First Class Eric Michael Emond, who was killed in November 2018 when an improvised explosive device struck his vehicle in Afghanistan. In addition, the Honorable Martin J. Walsh, mayor of the City of Boston, will receive the inaugural Sergeant First Class Eric Michael Emond Co-Founder Award.

The Annual Memorial Dinner helps fund the mission and work of Massachusetts Fallen Heroes. Bowditch is a sponsor.
