Rogan, U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO, gave a keynote presentation about the USPTO’s future priorities and his hope and support for ratification of the Madrid Protocol by the U.S. Congress. In another keynote presentation, Janet Valentic, Ford Motor Company’s Vice President of Global Marketing, provided advice for companies seeking to be noticed in the crowded world of advertising.
