Global law firm Clyde & Co has once again been ranked by The Lawyer's Litigation Tracker as the most active law firm in the English and Welsh courts in 2018.

Global law firm Clyde & Co has once again been ranked by The Lawyer's Litigation Tracker as the most active law firm in the English and Welsh courts in 2018. The firm has topped this ranking every year since it was launched in 2016.

The tracker ranks Clyde & Co as the most active firm by number of cases (51) and number of case days (147) for work across dispute types, including contract disputes, insurance, arbitration related disputes, personal injury and negligence, and employment.

Clyde & Co is ranked as most active firm in the Commercial Court (advising on 15 cases in 2018) and one of the most active in the Court of Appeal, the Queen's Bench and the Supreme Court.

Emphasising the firm's global reach, it was ranked fourth for disputes for international clients, with 23 cases (45% of the total).

Clyde & Co cases mentioned in The Lawyer's Litigation Tracker 2018 include two favourable Supreme Court rulings for the firm's clients in Chevron North Sea Limited v HM Inspector of Health and Safety and Volcafe Ltd & Ors v Compania Sud Americana de Vapores. Other cases included the firm representing Glencore PLC & Ors v Space Shipping Ltd in the Commercial Court, CSSA Chartering and Shipping Services S.A v Mitsui O.S.K. Lines in the Civil Division, Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust in dispute with Gerard Joseph Parkinson in the Administrative Division, and Dentons LLP v Lee Victor Addlesse in the Chancery Division.
