Haug Partners hosted Women in Bio – Greater Boston's biannual speed networking event on February 15th. Women in Bio is a national organization whose thirteen chapters are dedicated to promoting women to leadership roles in the life science industry. Its membership ranges from lawyers, consultants, researchers, and physicians to biopharma industry professionals.
Speed networking attendees were members of organizations including JP Morgan, MassBio, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Sanofi, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Momenta Pharmaceuticals, and Women in Bio sponsor Akebia Therapeutics.
February's speed networking forum at Haug Partners marked the organization's second monthly event of the year. In January, Women in Bio-Greater Boston welcomed special guest Nancy Simonian, CEO of Syros Pharmaceuticals, for a discussion about building careers in biotech.
