CORRS PROMOTES FIVE TO PARTNERSHIP
Australia's leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, is proud to announce the promotion of five exceptional lawyers to its partnership, enhancing the firm's capabilities for clients across key practice areas.
The new partners are Felicity Saxon, Corporate Advisory (Sydney); Natalie Bryant, Property and Infrastructure (Sydney); Stephanie Gallagher, Litigation (Brisbane); Arvind Dixit, Intellectual Property, Technology & Competition (Melbourne); and Chris Horsfall, Construction (Melbourne).

The promotions were effective from 1 January 2018.
Felicity Saxon – Corporate Advisory,
Sydney
Felicity joined Corrs in December 2010 after working a number of
years at another independent Australian law firm. From September
2012 Felicity spent approximately 3 years working on AMP
Limited's strategic transactions as a Senior Legal Counsel
before returning to Corrs in October 2015. Felicity has experience
across a range of corporate transactions and advisory work
including public and private M&A, capital markets, joint
ventures and restructures. She also has extensive experience
advising on governance issues, directors' duties, employee
incentive schemes and general commercial and contract law. Felicity
has acted for a variety of our key clients including a leading
global private equity firm, a Middle Eastern Sovereign Wealth Fund,
JustKapital Limited, AZ NGA, AMP Limited, Challenger Limited, eBay,
Perpetual, IOOF and BNY.
Natalie Bryant – Property & Infrastructure,
Sydney
Natalie joined Corrs as a summer clerk in 2003 and commenced as a
solicitor in 2006. Natalie has acted on some of the largest and
most iconic property developments and urban renewal projects of the
last decade and has expertise in all aspects of residential,
commercial, retail, industrial and mixed use developments. Her work
includes acting on property acquisitions and disposals, structured
title developments and development agreements and joint ventures.
Natalie acts for some of Australia's leading property
developers, including Mirvac, Frasers, Stockland, Toga Group and
Loftex. Natalie also works together with government departments to
achieve development goals.
Stephanie Gallagher – Litigation,
Brisbane
Stephanie joined Corrs in 2013, after eight years at the Bar and
three years as a partner of Tress Cox Lawyers, with more than 26
years' experience in acting for health care providers, health
regulators and medical defence organisations. Stephanie has broad
legal experience in the health industry in relation to the
regulation of health care providers, health care claims, coronial
inquests and health policy. Stephanie has acted for a variety of
clients including Queensland Health, Hospital and Health Services
and health regulatory boards.
Arvind Dixit – Intellectual Property, Technology
& Competition, Melbourne
Arvind joined Corrs as a Graduate Lawyer in 2005. He advises public
and private sector clients on the legal and commercial aspects of
IT and technology contracting, protection of IP rights, internet
law, privacy, data protection and cyber security. Arvind's area
of specialisation is complex technology procurement as well as
technology dispute resolution work. He acts for a variety of our
clients including Medibank, nbn, News Limited, the State of
Victoria, Facebook and REA. Arvind also Co-Chairs the firm's
India Country Focus Group, and has played a significant role in
developing the firm's reputation as a leading advisor in
relation to cross border transactions between India and
Australia.
Chris Horsfall – Construction,
Melbourne
Chris joined Corrs in 2014 and has acted for a variety of clients
including Origin Energy, Macquarie, CPB Contractors, Lendlease
Engineering and McConnell Dowell. Chris has extensive experience in
the area of construction dispute resolution across a wide range of
major infrastructure and engineering projects. Chris brings to his
legal work his engineering expertise and experience as a mechanical
engineer, having previously had design involvement in construction
projects across the Australia-Pacific region and Europe before
entering law.
