Bontle brings extensive experience advising banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), financial institutions and corporate clients on complex financing transactions across South Africa and the broader African market.
Her practice focuses on project finance, infrastructure finance, renewable energy finance, leveraged finance and acquisition finance, refinancing transactions and debt restructurings.
In addition to her banking and finance practice, Bontle has advised on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) transactions, and a range of corporate and commercial matters.
Known for combining technical excellence with a strong commercial understanding of her clients’ businesses, Bontle assists clients in structuring and executing transactions while managing legal and regulatory risk.
