NEW YORK, September 14, 2026 – Proskauer is pleased to welcome Stewart (“Stew”) Ross as a partner in its Corporate and Fund Finance practice in New York. Stew expands the Firm’s capabilities representing asset managers across the full spectrum of fund finance transactions.
Stew’s practice focuses on a wide range of transactions, including subscription credit facilities, NAV financings, management company and general partner facilities, GP stakes financings, and other fund liquidity solutions.
“Fund Finance is a critical component of our broader private capital offering and sits at the intersection of our market leading Global Finance and Private Funds practices,” said Justin Breen, co-head of Proskauer’s Global Finance practice. “Stew is an excellent addition to our team. His extensive experience advising many of the market’s most sophisticated asset managers enhances the perspective we bring to clients, and advances our continued investment in a fully integrated fund finance platform.”
“Proskauer has a broad lens across the industry, giving our clients the advantage of practical and commercial advice on a range of fund finance transactions,” said Monica Arora, co-head of Proskauer’s Private Funds Group. “Stew has a strong understanding of the needs of asset managers. His experience across products makes him a natural fit for the team and further strengthens the cross-practice perspective we bring to the market.”
“I have long respected the depth of Proskauer’s private capital platform,” Stew said. “The Firm’s work with fund sponsors, asset managers, and capital providers creates a compelling framework for my practice. I’m excited to join this team, work alongside my new colleagues, and help clients address their financing needs.”
Proskauer’s Corporate and Fund Finance practice represents both borrowers and capital providers, giving the team a comprehensive view of how fund finance transactions are structured, negotiated and executed. Combined with the Firm’s deep capabilities across Private Funds, Private Credit, and Global Finance, this holistic perspective enables the Firm to understand the priorities of all parties involved and deliver practical, commercial advice across an increasingly sophisticated finance market.
Stew is the Firm’s latest addition and reflects continued growth throughout Proskauer’s Global Finance platform. Since 2024, the Firm has added 34 Global Finance partners worldwide, significantly strengthening expertise in leveraged finance, private credit, structured credit, and fund finance. Already this month, the Firm welcomed a market-leading leveraged finance team in New York: partners Bill Miller, Brian Kelleher, Stephen Harper, and Christopher Bevan.
