Cleveland Partner Brad Barmen and Managing Partner Thomas P. Mannion will participate in a live mock trial hosted by the New York Claim Association (NYCA) at Aon in New York on October 8.
Mr. Barmen and Mr. Mannion will work alongside Aon Risk Services’ Director Patrick Carroll and Magna Legal Services’ David Barnard during the mock trial from 1 pm to 4 pm ET. The session will focus on “courtroom strategy, expert perspectives, and a one-of-a-kind look at how a claim can play out before a jury.” There will also be a “Meet the Board” event afterward, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm ET at The Malt House, to connect with NYCA’s leadership and other members for networking and conversation.
Mr. Barmen is a partner in the Cleveland office of Lewis Brisbois and a vice-chair of the General Liability Practice. Mr. Barmen's practice includes representing clients in complex commercial, labor and employment, real estate litigation, and products liability matters. He also represents several Ohio-based trucking and logistics firms regarding PUCO regulations and state and federal DOT compliance.
