NEW YORK (August 6, 2026) – Holland & Knight represented Central Wire Industries (CWI), a leading manufacturer of specialty alloy wire and cable products serving aerospace, defense, industrial, medical and energy markets, in connection with its sale to Altair Industries, a private equity firm that partners with management teams to scale middle-market businesses across the aerospace and defense (A&D) and mission-critical industrial sectors. The transaction was announced August 5.

Headquartered in Perth, Ontario, CWI is a global manufacturer of specialty alloy wire and cable products. The company specializes in high-performance materials, including stainless steel, nickel alloys and red metals, producing engineered components for mission-critical applications that demand precise metal properties, tight tolerances, corrosion resistance, reliability and durability. CWI serves more than 3,000 customers annually across the A&D, industrial, medical and energy end markets.

The acquisition comes amid growing demand for domestically produced, mission-critical materials and resilient supply chains supporting aerospace, defense and industrial manufacturing customers throughout North America.
