Global law firm K&L Gates LLP advised BioLife Solutions, Inc., a developer and supplier of cell processing tools and biopreservation media used in cell and gene therapy applications, on its acquisition by Repligen Corporation for an enterprise value of approximately US$1.5 billion.

BioLife Solutions, a Bothell, WA based company, is a developer and supplier of cell processing tools and biopreservation media used in cell and gene therapy applications. According to the companies, the transaction is expected to expand Repligen's capabilities in the cell therapy market and broaden its portfolio of cell processing technologies and consumable products.
