Australia's leading independent law firm, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, has advised Next Capital on its acquisition of the Australian data centre business and assets of Fujitsu Australia Limited (Fujitsu).
Next Capital will acquire Fujitsu's data centres located in Homebush and Greystanes in New South Wales, Noble Park in Victoria, Eight Mile Plains in Queensland and Malaga in Western Australia through its A$375 million fifth fund (Next Capital V).
The transaction was led by corporate partner Glen Sauer, with support from partners James North, Natalie Bryant, Caitlin Chiu, Lara Hall, James Morley, John Mosley and Stephen Price, and a range of experts across the firm's corporate, technology, media and telecommunications, real estate, employment, labour and safety, banking and finance and regulatory practices.
