In this informative 50-minute session, titled "Under Attack: Addressing Healthcare Workplace Violence and the SAVE Act," Ms. Yuen will be joined by Doreen Dufficy (Barbiero, Bisch, O'Connor & Commander, LLP) to examine the growing crisis of workplace violence in healthcare, highlighting increased risks to clinicians and the impact on staffing and burnout. Attendees will also gain insights to the proposed SAVE Healthcare Workers Act and recent state-level requirements, offering practical strategies to strengthen workplace safety and risk management.
Ms. Yuen focuses her practice on New York Labor Law, construction, medical malpractice, healthcare, traumatic brain injury defense, toxic tort, products liability and general liability. She is also the National Co-Chair of the firm's Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Defense Practice and manages a trial and litigation team in the New York City office.
