Osler is pleased to welcome Olivier Fournier to the firm's National Tax Group as a tax litigation partner, based in Toronto and Montréal.
Olivier's practice focuses on tax litigation and controversy, advising Canadian and international clients on complex tax audits and disputes both in and out of court. As a litigator, he regularly appears before both the federal and Québec courts on tax matters, including at the appellate level. A thought leader in Canadian tax law and former governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation, Olivier regularly contributes to the tax community through speaking and writing on significant tax issues.
Olivier's addition further strengthens Osler's growing tax disputes and litigation team, widely recognized as the leading practice in Canada.
"Olivier is a highly regarded tax litigator with a strong reputation for sound judgment and strategic insight," says Al Meghji, leader of Osler's tax controversy practice. "We are very pleased to welcome him to the firm and look forward to the contributions he will make to our clients."
