Artificial intelligence is changing how community associations operate, and on May 7, Ward and Smith community associations attorney Adam Beaudoin will break down what that means from a legal standpoint at the CAI-NC Charlotte Spring Education + Networking Event.
His session, “Back to the Future: AI from the Legal and Insurance Perspectives,” will be co-presented with Andrew Bateman, CIC, CIRMS, CMCA, of The Alera Group, who brings an insurance industry lens to the conversation. Together, they’ll explore how AI is reshaping the landscape for community associations, boards, and the professionals who serve them.
The event runs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Vaulted Oak Brewing in Charlotte. Attendees will earn one CEU for the education session, followed by appetizers, a cash bar, and prizes. Registration is $35 for CAI-NC members and $45 for all others.
Adam leads Ward and Smith’s Community Associations Practice Group and is one of fewer than 175 attorneys nationwide to hold the distinction of Fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). He is a familiar presence at CAI events across North Carolina and nationally, and previously served as President of the CAI-NC Board of Directors.
