Ward and Smith is pleased to announce that business attorney Matthew Jones has been selected to participate in the Spring 2026 cohort of Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s Encounter Wilmington program, April 28-29.
Encounter Wilmington is a leadership and community immersion program designed for professionals who are new to the Greater Wilmington region or emerging leaders seeking to deepen their connections within the local business community. Through an intensive, two-day experience, participants gain an up-close look at the key issues, opportunities, and industries shaping the region’s future.
The program features sessions led by high-level speakers and decision-makers across a range of sectors, including business growth and development, education and workforce, infrastructure, health and human services, criminal justice, arts and culture, and environmental initiatives. In addition to educational programming, participants have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with fellow professionals and community leaders.
Matthew’s selection reflects his commitment to professional growth and community engagement. In his practice, he advises businesses and individuals on a range of business law matters, including formation, transactions, and governance.
Ward and Smith is proud to support Matthew as he participates in this impactful program and continues to strengthen his connection to the Wilmington community.
