advisory firm, LSMQ on its acquisition by the UK private equity
backed AAB Accountancy Group.
Based in Carlow, LSMQ, was founded in 2003 and has 35 staff and
four partners.
AAB, which is backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, employs more
than 1,800 people across 23 locations internationally. Its latest
acquisition of LSMQ forms part of a series of strategic investments
by the group as it continues its rapid Irish expansion.
This transaction is another example of the ongoing consolidation
within the Irish accountancy sector, as firms seek scale,
specialist expertise, and the benefits of shared infrastructure to
meet growing client expectations.
