Benesch is pleased to announce that Nicholas J. Brill has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Corporate Practice Group. Nick brings a practical, results-oriented approach and a commitment to building collaborative relationships with clients across a wide range of industries.

Corporate Practice Group Co-Chair Megan Mehalko shared, "We are thrilled to welcome Nick back to our team. His deep knowledge and practical approach to complex transactions will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our group. Nick's commitment to client service and collaborative style align perfectly with Benesch's values."

Nick advises publicly and privately held companies on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, and other strategic transactions, as well as general corporate matters. His experience includes representing leading and emerging private equity funds, family offices and their portfolio companies, Fortune 500 companies, and founder-owned businesses in transactions spanning manufacturing, industrial, healthcare and software sectors. In addition, Nick regularly counsels clients on commercial contracting, entity formation, governance, joint venture agreements, securityholder agreements and securities compliance.

Earlier in his career, Nick spent three years as a corporate associate at Benesch's Chicago office, gaining valuable experience and building strong relationships within the firm. He returns to Benesch after expanding his practice and further developing his skills at a corporate firm and as in-house counsel for an independent private equity fund.

"This feels more like a homecoming than a new opportunity," said Nick. "The Benesch corporate team's dynamic and rapidly expanding M&A practice and firm commitment to a collegial and collaborative workplace environment are some of the many reasons I am excited to re-join Benesch."
