In this context, Ekin Sungur, who began her professional career at Moroğlu Arseven and subsequently gained many years of experience in insurance and financial services law across different sectors, joined our firm as a Partner as of February 2026.
Ekin Sungur specializes in insurance and private pension law, financial services, data protection, e-commerce, and AML (MASAK) compliance. She advises insurance and reinsurance companies, banks, financial institutions, as well as domestic and multinational companies on regulatory compliance, commercial operations, and dispute management. Her practice covers traditional insurance distribution channels as well as bancassurance, alternative distribution models, embedded insurance structures, and digital sales processes.
Throughout her career, she has worked at domestic and international law firms as well as companies operating in various sectors, and has taken on active roles with industry organizations in connection with her work in the insurance and financial services fields.
Ekin Sungur holds an LL.M. in Private International Law and International Trade Law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and also serves as an accredited mediator specializing in commercial, insurance, and employment law.
