Attorney Lily Faulconer has been named to East Carolina University’s 2026 40 Under Forty Leadership Awards, a distinction that recognizes alumni under the age of 40 who are making a meaningful impact through professional excellence, leadership, and service.
A double alumna of East Carolina University, Lily earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from the ECU Honors College in 2017, followed by her M.S. from ECU in 2018. She continues to give back to ECU through involvement with the East Carolina University Alumni Association, where she previously served as a board member, and as a current member of the ECU Honors College Advancement Council.
Lily is a creditors’ rights attorney in Ward and Smith’s Greenville office, where she advises lenders, banks, financial institutions, and other creditors on a wide range of matters involving bankruptcy, collections, foreclosures, restructuring, and insolvency. Her practice also includes representing closely held businesses and health care providers on transactional matters. Lily routinely drafts and negotiates contracts, loan documents, and workout agreements, helping clients manage complex financial and operational challenges with clarity and precision.
The 40 Under Forty recognition reflects Lily’s strong professional record, her ongoing service to ECU, and her commitment to supporting both clients and the broader community. Her selection places her among an accomplished group of young alumni who embody the leadership and service values that define East Carolina University.
