The University of North Carolina School of Law’s Center for Banking and Finance will host its annual Banking Institute on Thursday and Friday, March 26–27, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte.
The two-day program brings together banking professionals and legal counsel for timely discussion of the legal, regulatory, and policy issues shaping today’s financial services industry.
Designed for bankers and their lawyers, the Banking Institute delivers high-quality continuing legal education focused on current and emerging banking law topics. Programming will run Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Attendees will earn 8.25 hours of general CLE credit approved by the North Carolina State Bar, with certificates of attendance available for those seeking credit in other states.
Hosted by UNC School of Law’s Center for Banking and Finance, the Institute reflects the Center’s broader mission to support the ongoing development of the financial services industry. Through education, research, and professional programming, the Center plays an important role in advancing banking and finance law and supporting lawyers nationwide.
