London– Mayer Brown has advised The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited on the completion of a £213 million bulk purchase annuity transaction ("BPA") with the Trustee of the Oxford Instruments Pension Scheme. Royal London is the UK's largest mutual life, pensions and investment provider and the deal is Royal London's second largest external buy-in to date. The deal adds to the growing number of recent deals on which Mayer Brown has had the pleasure of supporting the excellent Royal London BPA team.
