Ewa Lejman has been invited to participate as a speaker at the upcoming online conference “Legal Regulations Governing Game Development”, which will take place on 15 January 2026.

The conference will focus on key legal challenges faced by the gaming industry and will be held in Polish. It will bring together legal professionals and industry representatives to discuss current and emerging regulatory trends affecting game development.

Ewa will deliver a presentation entitled “Loot boxes under scrutiny by legislators, and when does randomness in a game make it gambling?”. In her presentation, she will explore the increasing regulatory attention on loot boxes, the legal boundaries between game mechanics and gambling, and the implications of randomness-based monetisation models for game developers and publishers.

Further details about the conference (in Polish) are available here.
