Los Angeles, Calif. (January 12, 2026)- Lewis Brisbois is pleased to announce thatDiane Docter, who has 25 years of experience at AmLaw 200 firms, has joined the firm as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). She is based in the firm'sLos Angeles office and started on December 15.
Ms. Docterjoins Lewis Brisbois from Jenner & Block, where she had served as Chief of Administration since May 2023. Her distinguished career also includes stops at Latham & Watkins, where she served as the firm's Director of Administration - Global Services Office, and Littler Mendelson, where she held the post of Technology Support and Training Manager.
In her role as CAO at Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Docterwill work closely with the leaders of the firm's finance, HR, information technology and other key departments to help support our attorneys' goals and further drive operational efficiency.
Ms. Docter said she was drawn to Lewis Brisbois because of the firm's large national footprint and ever-expanding client base.
"I got very excited about the role after talking with [Chief Operating Officer] Rich Davis and [National Managing Partner] Greg Katz. I love that Lewis Brisbois has 59 offices nationwide and is forward-thinking in terms of its approach to the industry," Ms. Docter said. Mr. Davis said Ms. Docter's deep experience establishing centralized national support functions at other large law firms will make her a tremendous asset at Lewis Brisbois.
