In early November, Los Angeles labor partners Greg Knopp, Phil Lebel, Tony Oncidi, Jonathan Slowik and Mark Theodore hosted a focused, intimate dinner for labor in-house alumni, introducing a different format from prior alumni events to strengthen connections in the labor law community.
The evening brought together individuals with shared experiences and backgrounds to sit around a single table and swap stories, laugh, meet, reconnect or share thoughtful and candid insights.
“It was such a fun night,” said Jen Abramowitz, assistant vice president – senior legal counsel, team lead at AT&T. “It was great to reconnect, and the small group made it possible to have conversations with everyone.”
“I am so glad I attended the alumni dinner,” added Lisa Goldsmith, senior director, legal affairs at Warner Bros. Discovery. “While it is always great to reconnect with former Proskauer colleagues, the smaller dinner format, which represented a shift from past alumni receptions, provided an ideal setting for deeper conversations and more meaningful connections. I would happily attend more Proskauer alumni events like it!”
“I thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with our alums,” said partner Tony Oncidi. “Our primary objective was to provide the alumni with an opportunity to grow their networks and renew ties with one another. For me, small dinners like this serve as powerful reminders of just how important it is to stay connected.”
