The commercial law firm Oppenhoff will be under new leadership with effect from 1 January 2026. Jörn Kuhn has been appointed the firm’s new chairman. He succeeds Myriam Baars-Schilling, who has chaired the partnership since 2020. The executive board will be completed by Marc Krischer and Dr. Markus Rasner, who are taking over from Dr. Jürgen Hartung and Dr. Harald Gesell.
Jörn Kuhn is to be the new chairman of the law firm Oppenhoff. He will be heading the three-member executive board in future. Marc Krischer and Dr. Markus Rasner have also been elected by Oppenhoff’s partners as new members of the executive board. The new executive board replaces the previous team led by Myriam Baars-Schilling and comprising Dr. Jürgen Hartung and Dr. Harald Gesell, who wished to hand over the reins after two terms in office.

Jörn Kuhn specialises in advising companies on collective employment law matters, among other things. Marc Krischer specialises in providing tax and balance sheet advice in M&A matters, in the structuring and restructuring of corporate groups as well as advice on external audits and extrajudicial and judicial legal remedies.
Dr. Markus Rasner specialises in comprehensively advising on domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. For more than 20 years he has advised entrepreneurs, family offices, financial investors and both national and international companies on their transaction projects.
