Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman (CLL) partners Lou Ederer and CJ Erickson will lead a workshop titled "Borderline Luxury: Practical Customs, Tariffs, and Gray Market Updates" at the Luxury Law Summit New York on November 12, 2025.
The workshop will highlight key legal issues currently confronting luxury brands in the importation of their goods into the U.S . Lou and CJ will discuss the utilization of U.S. Customs to exclude the importation of counterfeit goods, the impact of tariffs on the importation of genuine goods, and the ability (or inability) to prevent the importation of authentic goods that were not intended to be distributed in the U.S. (gray market goods/parallel imports).
