Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman attorney Dasha Chestukhin will speak on two upcoming panels hosted by the Rutgers Law School Fashion Law Society and the IPELS Fashion Committee at NYU Law School, respectively. Both panels will focus on careers in fashion law.
The Rutgers Law School Fashion Law Society panel will take place virtually on Monday, October 20, from 12:15 to 1:00 PM ET.
The NYU Law School panel will take place the following day, Tuesday, October 21, from 1:15 to 2:30 PM ET.
During both panels, Dasha will share insights from her career in fashion and intellectual property law, including how she entered the field and notable matters she has handled. Her practice includes trademarks, copyrights, domain names, unfair competition, and patents. She regularly litigates in federal and state courts, represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the World Intellectual Property Organization, and advises on trademark clearance, registration, and portfolio management.
Dasha's clients include fashion and lifestyle companies, technology firms, hotels, restaurants, food and wine businesses, nonprofits, and start-ups.
The events are oriented to law students at each law school and are not open to the public.
