Appleby is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Buchan as Counsel in the firm's Corporate practice in the British Virgin Islands.
Chris brings a wealth of experience in corporate law, with particular strengths in public and private M&A, capital markets, finance, investment funds and services, private equity, and other corporate matters. Prior to joining Appleby, he practised at offshore law firms in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda, and served as Partner and Head of the Funds Group as well as Co-Head of the Private Equity Group at Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong.
Chris joins a growing team and will work closely with partners and associates across the group to support clients in sophisticated transactions and further enhance the firm's service offerings.
