Attorneys Bob Lightfoot and Autumn Ruleau were featured speakers at the LeadingAge Wisconsin 2025 Annual Conference & 45th Annual Exhibitors Tradeshow on September 10, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells, with Reinhart serving as a conference sponsor.
Lightfoot presented "To IDR or Not to IDR: That is the Question," focusing on Independent Dispute Resolution processes (IDR) and strategies for skilled nursing facilities to improve their success rates in IDR sessions, while he and Ruleau co-presented "Topics in Assisted Living: Regulatory Update, the Appeals Process and Licensing Tips," providing attendees with current regulatory guidance and practical licensing advice for assisted living providers.
Lightfoot is a shareholder and chair of Reinhart’s Health Care Practice and Long-Term Care, Assisted Living and Senior Independent Housing Services Group. He represents the owners and operators of nursing homes and assisted living facilities in operational, regulatory and employment matters, as well as buying, selling and licensing these entities, survey and certification, audits, risk management and HIPAA compliance.
Ruleau is an attorney in Reinhart’s Health Care Law Practice, where she counsels clients on projects encompassing all aspects of health care law, including licensing, regulatory and compliance issues. She serves as both a partner and an advocate for clients, helping them navigate the ever-changing, complex regulatory and compliance landscape.
