CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 18, 2025) – Holland & Knight represented Airo Mechanical, a leading provider of HVAC and plumbing installation services and a portfolio company of Thomas Investments and Stephens Capital Partners, in its sale to private equity firm CCMP Growth Advisors LP. The transaction was announced on August 7.
Airo specializes in both new construction and retrofit projects, serving multifamily and light commercial property developers as well as general contractors. In the past few years, Airo has successfully expanded beyond its North Carolina roots into South Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. CCMP Growth, which has extensive experience with skilled trade industrial companies, aims to accelerate Airo's growth by enhancing its commercial retrofit capabilities, investing in technology and entering new Southeastern markets.
