National professional services business Knights is reflecting on a year of growth - with more than £640 million of corporate transactions advised on by its Midlands offices and the addition and promotion of several new senior professionals.
Knights has a team of more than 250 professionals across its Midlands offices in Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Solihull, Worcester - working as part of a nationwide team across Knights' unrivalled regional network of 32 offices. Its Midlands corporate team has experienced its busiest spell to date, acting for a number of UK and international clients, including listed PLCs, corporates, and family businesses, on their strategic acquisition and disposal programmes.
Notable recent transactions include advising WTR, backed by Swedish private equity investor Aspira Partners, on its UK acquisition strategy, including the acquisition of Euroflo and SI Pumps, advising the selling shareholders of Midlands based precision manufacture Energy Bolting and Merkur Group on multiple acquisitions and disposals in the regulated gaming sector.
To build on Knights' growing reputation, several senior professionals have bolstered the team across the Midlands and a number of existing team members have been promoted to partner.
This includes Real Estate Partners Daniel Walsh and Russell Dowling, new homes specialist Partner Waheeda Ali and Residential Mortgages Partner Kevin Britton who all join Knights, and James Sparks who has been promoted to partner in the corporate team.
The business' Midlands growth is underpinned by strong financial performance nationwide in the 2025 financial year, with revenues for the year anticipated to be up 8% to £162 million.
