Carey Olsen's debt capital markets team in Jersey has been named among the winning advisers, including onshore advisers Clifford Chance LLP, for 'Deal of the Year: Structured Finance and Securitisation' at the 26th annual IFLR Europe Awards.
The Awards, which took place at the Royal Lancaster in London yesterday evening, celebrate firms, lawyers and in-house teams behind the most innovative cross-border transactions.
Carey Olsen was recognised for its advice to the London branch of Swiss multinational investment bank USB AG on the Jersey law aspects of its Aries 5 synthetic securitisation transaction.
The team was led by partner Simon Marks and assisted by counsel Ashley Morrison and senior associate Catriona Urquhart, working alongside onshore advisers Clifford Chance LLP.
