Maples and Calder, the Maples Group's law firm, is pleased to announce that its Asia Funds & Investment Management practice has advised the Development Bank of Japan Inc. ("DBJ") and Indonesia Investment Authority ("INA") on the launch of IJ Hybrid Capital Solution Fund I, L.P. (the "Fund").
The Fund will focus on senior secured investments and offers tailored financing solutions to mid- and upper-sized businesses in Indonesia.
Partner Sharon Yap and Of Counsel Aidan O'Regan from the firm's Hong Kong Funds & Investment Management team acted as Cayman Islands counsel to DBJ and INA. The Group's Fund Services business has been appointed as fund administrator, with a team comprising Eastern Fong, Regional Head of Fund Services – Asia, and Vice President-Senior Account Manager, Cherie Chan.
