Carlos E. López López, Senior Partner at Wolf Popper LLP, has been Appointed as the American Vice President for International Committee for the Association of European Attorneys (AEA) Arbitration Court for 2025. The appointment will cover all of North American, Central American, South American, and Caribbean countries.
The Association of European Attorneys was created in January 2004.
It has an European origin but has expanded all over the world. The headquarters are located in Berlin, Germany in Leipziger Platz, a few meters from Potsdamer Platz in the Mosse Palais.
The main goal of the AEA is the referrals between members. The idea is to get work from other countries and to give a better service to the clients.
The AEA has offices in the majority of the independent countries. It is the largest network of lawyers in the world in what relates to the number of offices and number of countries covered. The AEA has 1.075 offices in 150 countries with a total of around 12.000 lawyers.
