Leading international law and professional services firm Walkers has appointed Tui Iti as Chief Compliance Officer, strengthening its global risk and compliance capabilities.
Tui brings extensive experience in financial services law,
regulation and compliance. His expertise spans anti-money
laundering, sanctions, enterprise risk management and corporate
governance.
Most recently, Tui served as the Global Head of Regulatory
Consulting at Ogier, also holding senior leadership positions at
TMF Group, Estera and Elian. He is a qualified lawyer, admitted to
the New Zealand Bar in 1997, is also a qualified Trust and Estate
Practitioner (TEP).
Tui’s appointment aligns with the firm’s focus on
evolving compliance needs with the creation of a standalone
compliance function. Angela Robertson will continue as General
Counsel and Chief Risk Officer.
