Now in its sixth year, the list identifies top investors, founders, advisors, limited partners and other professionals under the age of 40 who are making their mark on the venture capital industry.
As co-lead of Proskauer's venture capital and growth equity initiative group, Brian has earned a reputation as a leader in venture capital fund formation, with the technical expertise and strategic insight to become the go-to attorney for clients. Brian represents private fund sponsors from established sponsors to new and emerging managers in connection with the organization and operation of both U.S. and global funds, including venture capital, growth equity and buyout funds, as well as other fund strategies. His practice focuses on organizing, structuring, negotiating and marketing private investment funds across all aspects of the fundraising process, as well as the ongoing operation and maintenance of private investment funds and their sponsors.
Over the past year, Brian has helped clients close several complex and noteworthy funds, including guiding Thrive Capital on the closing of its Thrive IX series of funds, one of the largest venture fundraises of 2024, which secured over $5 billion in aggregate commitments. He also advised Atomico, a leading European venture capital firm, on the formation of Atomico Growth VI and Atomico Venture VI, which together closed on $1.24 billion in commitments, the largest-ever fundraise for the firm.
