Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Jill Murphy has joined the firm's Austin office as Of Counsel.
Jill focuses her practice on commercial real estate. She provides counsel to developers, prospective purchasers, tenants, and property owners involved in a variety of transactions. Jill advises on leasing, disposition, acquisition, and financing of commercial properties. She counsels clients on title review, easement creation, loan document preparation, and investor-funded development opportunities.
Jill's deep understanding of real estate law is reflected in her role as Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas School of Law, where she teaches a course on Commercial Leasing. This position allows her to share her practical experience and insights with the next generation of legal professionals while further honing her skills in the field.
Jill is recognized as a leader in her field by Austin Monthly. She is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Association and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Jill received her B.S. from Texas A&M University and her J.D. from Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University). She is licensed in both Texas and New York.
