The leading law firm Schoenherr received the Austria Legal
Adviser of the Year award from Mergermarket at the European M&A
Awards Gala held on 27 November 2024 in London.
With this distinction, Mergermarket recognises the continued
excellence of Schoenherr's Austrian M&A advisory throughout
the past year. In addition, Schoenherr remains ranked number one in
Mergermarket's league tables, continuing a decade-long history
of outstanding results.

Schoenherr's behalf at Mergermarket's ceremony.
Noteworthy Austrian M&A transactions that Schoenherr advised on
during the reference period include:
- Vauban Infrastructure Partners, EDF Invest and MEAG on the acquisition of the AustrianTower portfolio, Austria's largest independent TowerCo,
- Fresenius on the cross-border sale of VAMED Group's rehabilitation clinics to PAI-Partners,
- NLB on its takeover offer for Addiko Bank,
- Assa Abloy on the acquisition of Skidata and
- B&C Group on the sale of a 15 % stake in Vienna-listed Lenzing AG to Suzano S.A.
The European M&A Awards, presented by the leading business intelligence provider Mergermarket, recognise advisors who have played leading roles in transactions in Europe over the past year.
