SYDNEY: McCabes is thrilled to announce a significant milestone – our lifetime giving to the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) has reached an impressive $250,000. This achievement underscores our commitment and dedication to the SCHF, which creates better outcomes for sick kids.
At the recent Donor Recognition Evening held at Sydney Town Hall on Thursday, 3 October, McCabes was recognised as reaching Benefactor status for our support of the Grace Gala and Diamond Event.
The Grace Gala raises funds to support the extraordinary work of The Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children's Hospital at Westmead and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation.
The Diamond Event raises funds for unrestricted purposes, ensuring that there are funds available if and when needed.
The donor recognition evening celebrated various milestones, and guests heard from inspirational speakers, including SCHF Patient Ambassador Jasmine Greenwood.
Guests also heard from dedicated Rehab2Kids clinicians, Kylie French and Catherine O'Sullivan, who illustrated how our collective philanthropy helps empower them to provide exceptional care to children on their path to recovery.
SCHF said that "it's moments like these that remind us of the power of community and the impact we are having on the future of kids' health".
We are proud to have the opportunity to contribute on a large scale to SCHF through our CSR and Pro Bono program, and also want to acknowledge the individual contributions made to the cause directly from our team members.
