Walkers has advised Deutsche Hypo – NORD/LB Real Estate Finance ("Deutsche Hypo") on the £53.2 million debt financing of the office building 'Landmark' and the £33 million build-to-rent (BtR) property 'VOX' for Barings LLC ("Barings") located in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Deutsche Hypo is one of the largest real estate financiers in Europe, specialising in commercial real estate. Barings is one of the world's largest diversified real estate investment managers.
Led by Partner Julia Keppe, Walkers advised on the Jersey aspects of the transaction alongside Shepherd and Wedderburn who advised on English law. Also supporting on the Walkers team were Senior Counsel Louise Hamilton and Associates Georgia Petre and Aidan Dobney.
