On Saturday morning, the Phoenix Park was alive with
energy, resilience, and community spirit at the RDJ Dublin City
Triathlon (DCT). More than just a race, the event embodies the
importance of pushing boundaries, setting new goals, and
celebrating every achievement, big or small.
DCT is a premier multisport event which attracts athletes from
across the globe, with over 1,000 participants swimming in the
scenic waters of the upper river Liffey, cycling through the
Phoenix Park and finishing with a run along Chapelizod Road taking
in the Donore Harriers running track.
The inaugural Corporate Relay Challenge also took place with
over 60 Corporate Relay Teams competing in the 750m swim, 20km
cycle and a 5km run.
The Kids Fun Race was also a new feature on the race agenda this
year allowing budding triathletes to experience the thrill of race
day and take their first steps towards becoming a future triathlon
star.
