For more than 15 years, the Brown Smith Wallace affiliate BSW Small Business Services (SBS) has provided tax, accounting and consulting services to small businesses in the St. Louis metro area. The practice has been recognized as the Small Business Monthly Best Accounting Firm the past seven years. On January 1, 2016, SBS changed its name to Entrepreneurial Services Group to better represent the breadth of services the practice offers to entrepreneurs and small businesses.

In 2015, the Entrepreneurial Services Group practice eclipsed $2.2 million in revenue. In January 2016, the practice merged in 14 professionals from Bergman, Schraier & Co., adding 130 cumulative years of public accounting experience and an additional $2.0 million in revenue.
