Pride Month in June highlights our year-round opportunity to celebrate, honour and learn more about Pride, an entire month dedicated to elevating LGBTQ2IS+ voices, celebrating LGBTQ2IS+ culture and supporting LGBTQ2IS+ rights.
This is a time to celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ2IS+ communities and applaud the progress that has been made, while recognizing that more work needs to be done. It is also necessary to acknowledge LGBTQ2IS+ history, including important legal victories, and remember the hardships the community has endured.
