PartnerDebbie Berman, Chair of the Anti-Defamation League Midwest Region board, will discuss best practices for businesses to combat antisemitism in the workplace. Debbie’s panel is part of the ADL’s Never Is Now program, being held in-person at the Javits Center in New York from March 6 to 7.
During the panel, Debbie will share strategies for how employees can be equipped with the tools and resources they need to understand their rights and available legal remedies at a time when antisemitism and bias are on the rise, including discussing Jenner’s Jewish affinity group that was created more than a year ago and the role of such groups in the workplace. Debbie has served on the ADL Midwest Regional board since 2010 and began her term as regional president this year. She has served in a variety of leadership roles for other organizations in the Jewish community, including the Jewish United Fund / Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, the Jewish Agency for Israel and several other prominent Chicago and national organizations. At Jenner & Block, she is a Co-Chair of the firm’s Business Litigation and the Trade Secrets and Restrictive Covenants Practices.
