OCTOBER 19, 2023
2:30 PM — 3:30 PM
On June 24, 2022, in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, the U.S. Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade and ended federal constitutional protections for abortion. Although Massachusetts continues to protect the right to abortion under state law, our Commonwealth has not been immune from the consequences of Dobbs. In late April, the BBA convened a panel to discuss the first year of fallout from the Dobbs decision, followed by the release of the BBA’s Statement of Principles on Reproductive Rights in July.
This webinar will continue the conversation among the same panel of experts—both lawyers and doctors—to provide an update about the ongoing impact of Dobbs in our community. This panel will be a must-watch for anyone who is providing legal advice to Massachusetts patients and providers, as well as those who want to understand the real-world impact of the Dobbs decision in a state where abortion remains protected.
