Counsel Katherine Garrood will be speaking at the Isle of Man Data Protection Conference. The Islands Data Governance Forum and BCS Isle of Man are hosting their first joint conference, connecting data regulators and professionals as part of Cyber Security Awareness Month in October.
The conference will be taking place on Thursday 5 October 2023 at Woodbourne House 8.30am – 5.30pm. Katherine will deliver a presentation on ‘Balancing Competing Regulatory Obligations’ from 11.15am – 11.45am.
Katherine is Counsel within the Corporate department in the Isle of Man. She is a member of Appleby’s Global Technology and Innovation team and provides data protection advice to both local and global businesses, particularly in the financial services industry.
